We took a trip to San Fran Zoo on Saturday which was something we had been meaning to do for a long time. Evan and I grew up in the bay area and neither of us had ever been. McKenzie loved the monkeys, even the "scary monkeys" (gorillas). She also had a great time in the petting zoo area making friends with the goats, sheep, and donkeys. If you live in the bay area, take the time to visit the SF Zoo sometime. It was well worth the trip.
Something funny you may have noticed, it was the "Millar Family Wears Stripes Day"

Family Circus
It is hard not to be grateful for the fact that Google clearly spoils their employees with all the perks they
Friday afternoon was even more fun than just the usual, but incredible, meal at the Google campus. It was called the "Google Family Circus." The crazy company came through (of course) and provided a very fun event for kids and adults. I have been to Shoreline Amphitheater many times for concerts, but this circus was something else. Aside from any frozen treat you can think of, and all the best food right at your finger tips, there were rides, crafts, animals, puppet shows, and funny entertainment.

Happy Friday
So after a week full of kids kids kids, we get to go have a fun afternoon with Dad! Google is throwing one of their notorious summer carnivals and what do you know, it is during the day. Nothing beats free food and being able to spend a work day with Dad. So this fun play day is actually at Shoreline amphitheater and features, endless free food, a special kids area, and even a "Google Idol." So check back for an update on this fun afternoon we are about to experience.
After a long week of hard week for both Evan and I, it will be fun to have fun together as a family, courtesy of Google.

Finally on the Blog-Wagon
Evan asked me the other day, "honey, why don't you start a blog?" I told him, "because I don't have a creative bone in my body and I don't even begin to compare to my siblings who are practically professional bloggers." After a little thought, I decided it is a fun way to keep everyone posted on what our family is up to. So here's to the wonderful world of blogging. Stay tuned for more of the Millar family fun...
