9 MONTHS OLD

March 22nd was Brynn's 9 month birthday. I cannot believe my newborn is already that big. (I know I am talking like she is turning 1) Today was her 9 month check up so I am feeling like that first year birthday mark is approaching way too quickly. Her stats: She is 40th percentile for height and weight. No teeth yet, but we are hoping that they pop through soon since they seem to be bothering her every second. She hates baby food (only wants what we are eating) and also decided that she hates nursing. Weird how our babies are already so different. As we are preparing to move I can't help but get nostalgic and think about the day we brought Brynn into this home.
We are lucky to have Brynn in our family. She is "an exceptionally happy baby," as the doctor put it today.

We're Moving

Evan and I are excited to make the next step and move over to the east bay. We are however scared to leave Menlo Park. We are very happy here and have wonderful friends that we will miss. I just hope I stop crying once I get settled in. Can you tell I am scared to leave? We are looking forward to having the space that we need and the backyard fun that we have longed for. We know Pleasanton is a great place for families because we both grew up there. To all of our Menlo Park friends, please please come visit.

sick, hungry, and tired...

A very sick McKenzie keeps saying "I don't like that this is happening to me mommy." I want to burst out into tears every time. She has been very sick for the past week and we are all growing tired. After several trips to the doctors office, and a few close calls to the ER...she did take some bites of dinner tonight! Hooray. I have never been more excited to see her eat. I jumped up and offered ice cream, brownies, "whatever you want kiddo!" I hope this awful soar throat and soars in the mouth are on their way out. I know this poor baby does too!
