Thank You Grandma!

My mom came to help us out after Evan went back to work. We are so thankful for that. Mom/Grandma is McKenzie's best friend so she was happy to have her around for a whole week! It was so nice to have our laundry done and fridge full of food. With her around to help watch McKenzie, I was able to get some extra sleep. Grandma Liz takes off this weekend, so life with 2 kids may get a little tougher :)

Sweet Brynn

The first weeks are always the hardest. We are surviving and enjoying our time together. Evan is on paternity leave until Monday. It has been wonderful having him home. Although the baby brings sleepless nights, she has brought such a sense of peace into our home. Brynn is just so sweet and we are in our own little heaven here.

She's Here!!

We are excited to welcome our newest addition. She is such a beautiful blessing. Brynn Elizabeth Millar was born on Sunday at 1:53 am. It all happened so fast. I labored at home for a few hours (I was in denial that this was it because I had felt so many contractions all week). We finally arrived at the hospital at 12:45am. By the time I got my epidural, it was too late. She was coming. It did not have time to kick in. Somehow I survived and delivered her in no time. Brynn is a little baby weighing in at 6 lbs 3 oz. 19.25 inches long. She is another amazing blessing for our family. We are happy to be home from the hospital learning how to care for 2 children. McKenzie is going to be a great big sister. She loves her sooo much. So do we!! It is just so fun.

Grandpa Roberts

On June 14th, my only living Grandpa passed away. Being so close to my due date, I will miss the services and the family reunion that inevitably occurs at this type of event. I am lucky to be part of his family. He was known for his sharp sense of humor and willingness to serve the Lord. Here is a picture of me and Grandpa right after he baptized me in 1988. I will miss him.

Our Off-Off Broadway Show

These pictures were taken by my mom who was sitting in the audience on Friday night. I just had to share since this was such a fun, special, and memorable performance for me. We put on a show for enrichment night and the community/stake the following night. We sang and danced our hearts out. I am pretty amazed that it did not force me into labor with all those sassy moves. We had a great time!
