My sweet husband surprised me with a very fun anniversary present: A weekend getaway to LA to see the play Wicked. Best of all...It was KID FREE! We had such a fun time this past weekend. I love musicals and knew I would love this show. Evan has never been so sure why actors who suddenly burst out into song makes me so happy, but I think he finally got a taste of why it is. Wicked was everything I had hoped for and more. The music was amazing and we both laughed quite a bit.
On Saturday we spent the day in Santa Monica together. We picked a nice hot weekend to be there. We really enjoyed sleeping in, eating out, and being together with just the two of us. What a fun anniversary present!

I loved Wicked. I laughed. I cried. What a sweet husband you have to take you. It was SO hot last weekend. I'm glad you guys had fun & were able to spend some time alone. Next time you are down this way, we should get together.
