Folded Arms

Brynn is learning how to be reverent. (Unlike her mother who was snapping pictures during family prayer.)

Laundry Divas

Folding clothes is my least favorite chore...

...but having two cute helpers makes it almost fun!

Oral Hygiene

We no longer have any extra toothbrushes. They all belong to Brynn. She loves a clean mouth apparently!

Not Me!

Do you ever feel guilty for pretending not to notice as your child sucks toothpaste right out of the tube, or shreds an entire roll of toilet paper...all so you can simply take a shower? After all, you would rather have them quiet and occupied instead of banging on the glass shower door right? Are you thinking "Not me"? Well, I am guilty! I may get funny looks at church for letting my 4 year old color in a Mickey Mouse coloring book while eating obnoxious amounts of snacks. Fellow Post Office customers may think I am crazy for sticking a lollipop into my 1 year old's mouth while waiting in line. If you visited my house while I was doing dishes you might chuckle at my 3 year old filling up 500 plastic cups of water all so I can load the dishwasher and clean the sink. I think I even surprised my husband when he recently yelled "honey, your baby is eating dirt out of the flower pot in the backyard..." (I was trying to straighten my hair, something I hardly ever do). Well, I had a recent experience that made me reflect on all of these things I do, or let my kids do, in order to keep them occupied. Is that so horrible? Well one lady thought so. On a recent run, I stopped by a local donut shop on our route to help cheer McKenzie up and stop Brynn from crying. (They get bored in the jogging stroller after so many miles.) After purchasing two small donuts (only one per kid at least) the store clerk said in chopped up English, "you give baby donut already?" "Nah, not me," was all I could think to say.

Our Weekend

Highlights from this weekend:
-Date night. Sushi, Frozen Yogurt, and concert in the park. Does it get any better?
-Long Sat morning run.
-Mom and Dad plus McKenzie date. We took her to see the movie "UP."
-Stake Conference on Sunday. We even made it on time...

...all this was possible because Grandma Liz came to visit! Here are a few snapshots from the weekend.
